Created dozens of test web projects using ASP.NET, JavaScript and MSDE. Setup user registration and log in, Scheduling calendars, Contact Management, and various other web content modules. Used DotNetNuke setup and enhanced Scheduling calendars, Contact Management, and various other web content modules.

  Developed an MRP system in VB6 and Access 2000. System tracks customers, orders, work orders, production scheduling, production (formula and actions), Equipment maintenance scheduling, quality control, and products. Tracking occurs down to the container level from receiving to shipping. Also implemented, production interrupt messaging, production operator interface, Quality control etc. Production was streamlined by using bar code scanners and touch screens.

 Maintenance to Heat Treating Manufacturing software. Upgraded and enhanced from MS Access 97 to 2000.

 Created a PC client interface to AS/400 database. SQL selections written in VB 6.0 and reported with Access 97.

 Enhanced a Sales Management System written in Access 97. Extensive working with the client to define needs. System tracked contracts, customers, employees, products, customer loans, and commissions for a window sales and remodeling company. Conversion of data from previous system Sales Management System. 

 Developed an Exit Program in RPG for FTP security on the AS/400.

 Created a region override file and implemented the use of it over an entire contract system. Various tasks of maintenance and system enhancement.

  Support and changes to a large inventory system written in RPG III. Changes written  in RPG ILE on the AS/400.

 Windows NT network administration, Windows 95 software/hardware installation.

 Converted RPG interactive report programs. Received training in Subfile programming.

 Created GUI data transfer software programs using MS Access, and Visual Basic to transfer Watcom, and AS/400 databases to Excel. Designed MS Access programs to update Watcom database on the network. Various reporting programmed in RPG on the AS/400. Converted AS/400 RPG report programs to EZPrint.   

 Converted Yard Management system through two major enhancements. Trailer data is uploaded via an Excel spread sheet to the AS/400 via PC. Inbound and Outbound Purchase Order’s updated to AS/400 via EDI transmission from Ford and their vendors. Various reporting for the Yard system including Non-Compliance. Worked with all the programmers involved in Yard Management to ensure nothing is missed or cause conflicts. Analysis for an entirely separate Compliance system.

  Tested methods of SQL embedding in RPG. Created date conversion routines using RPG ILE which handled leap years, post 2000, both 2 and 4 digit year formats, and designed to be easily used with current RPGIII programs. Considered the advantages and disadvantages of Code400. Devised new library list to improve efficiency of computer use. Devised other techniques to accelerate program development.

 Assisted with software problems related to SNA network and AS/400. Assisted others with programming of Visual Basic, MS-Access and Delphi.

 S/36 RPG II conversion to native AS/400 RPG 400. Programs originally translated with the Target package. Most changes occurring with CL message handling and job submission. Many changes dealing with external file description and the *LDA. Numerous rewrites dealing with multi-format files.

 Responsible for transmission and programming related to EDI. Developedprograms for Advance Shipment Notice, PO Inquiry/Report, Invoice,Purchase Order, and other EDI standard reports. Conducted all testing with partners. I handled all upgrades of standards and Gentran software. Various other programming tasks including communications, interactive update, and reporting.

 Automated LAN database file format conversions and reporting. Created new sales reporting in a PC environment with graphic user interfaces, both interactive and batch processing. Use of MS Access Basic in a multitasking environment.

 Developed an Automated Restaurant Order system. Using Data Control facility to reach both MS Access and dBase IV files. Various reporting including mailing lists.Created Database screens, reports, automated backup procedures, automated mailing, and automated update programs for a subscriber database.
